Degree in BAM

Curriculum Degree

The Curriculum Degree in Business Administration and Management has been structured according to the proposal made to the Degree in Business White Paper for the Degree in Economics and Business, as well as the recommendations made by the Conference of Deans Faculties of Economics and Business. In addition, the curriculum meets, also, the "General Instructions of the Technical University of Cartagena for the Organization of Education in Curriculum Grade", approved by the Governing Council of 27 May 2008. Below can observe the distribution of the curriculum according to the credits of each subject and the distribution of subjects for academic courses.

Distribution of Credits

The duration of the degree is 240 ECTS where theoretical and practical training the student must acquire is included. The plan is structured by type of material (Basic aspects for the degree, Mandatory and Elective subjects, Practices in companies and conducting Final Project) as follows:

Excess credits in a completed quarter is not transferable to another quarter.
The number of elective credits students must take can reduce accordingly to quantity recognised credits for cultural activities, sports, student representation, solidarity and cooperation (see Article 5 of the Regulation on Transfer and Recognition of the Technical University of Cartagena Degree ).

(**) The number of credits that can be obtained with the Practices Training in Companies is a maximum of 18 and decreases the amount of elective credits that students must complete.

Distribution Courses and Teachers Guide

Different subjects included in the curriculum will be taught in eight semesters of fifteen weeks each. It is considered that 1 ECTS credit is equivalent to 25 hours of student work.

The temporal distribution of the subjects is shown throughout the four years that make up the training program and Teachers Guides for each subject of the present course, where the training activities, skills to acquire, include content description are provided, evaluation system, etc. If the name of the course is in Spanish, this course is only offered in that language.
